Heraclea’s Millennia-old Elixir of Immortality

The journey of Q Farm Olive Oil begins in the Southern Aegean, where olive oil was first gifted to humanity.

In Muğla, one of the birthplaces of olive oil, grows a very rare type of the famous Memecik olive—the Heraklia lineage.

Q Farm Olive Oils are produced from the precious olives of the 479 remaining trees of this special and endangered Heraklia lineage.

To produce Q Farm Olive Oils with high polyphenol content and low acidity, we combine natural farming with traditional production methods. Our olives are constantly monitored and harvested at the optimal time to ensure the highest polyphenol levels, using traditional techniques without ever touching the ground. They are then processed within 8 hours using the cold-press method. Throughout this process, neither our olives nor our oils ever come into contact with plastic. After pressing, our olive oils are carefully stored in stainless steel tanks at a stable temperature of 15–16 °C, away from air and light, and presented to you in our exclusive glass bottles. From this lineage, we are only able to produce limited quantities of our high-polyphenol olive oils.

How Do We Achieve Such High Polyphenol Levels?

Behind the high polyphenol levels of Q Farm Olive Oils lies a meticulous process.

Our olives are carefully monitored until they reach optimal ripeness and are harvested at the perfect time. Picked with care without ever touching the ground, they are pressed within 8 hours to produce Q Farm Olive Oil with high polyphenol levels and low acidity.

At no stage of harvesting or production do our olives or olive oil ever come into contact with plastic. After pressing, our olive oils are carefully stored in stainless steel tanks at a stable temperature of 15–16 °C, away from air and light, and delivered to your table in our award-winning Q Farm glass bottles filled with health and trust.

While in other regions one liter of olive oil may be obtained from three or four kilograms of olives, producing one liter of high-polyphenol Q Farm Olive Oil requires between 15 and 60 kilograms of carefully selected olives.

Q Farm Delice Olive Oil

The wild olive that grows spontaneously in nature is called Delice and is known to be the ancestor of the olive. Delice trees are not grafted. They bear fruit in their own natural process. These olives are not suitable for use as food, but a very high quality, pure olive oil with a very high polyphenol content is obtained.

Delice olives have small fruits and low productivity. It is harvested by manpower without the use of agricultural tools. Harvesting is challenging and laborious. The productivity rate varies according to the season, region and variety; between 18 kg and 35 kg, a maximum of 1 kg of oil can be produced from Delice. However, polyphenol rates are just as high.
